The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has
purchased more than 17,000 fuel-efficient vehicles, including
hybrids and alternative-fuel vehicles, to help upgrade the
efficiency of the federal fleet. The latest purchase includes 35
hybrid electric buses and five buses that run on natural gas.
