DOE and USDA Award $47 Million in Biomass Research Grants
DOE and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)
have awarded $47 million to fund eight research and
development projects that will help develop sustainable,
renewable biofuels.
55 of the world's 65 largest oil producing countries are past their production peaks and in decline.
Estimated energy demand is charted to grow by almost 50% in the next 20 years.
