The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy invests in a diverse portfolio of energy technologies to provide efficient, clean and renewable energy leading toward a stronger economy, a cleaner environment, and greater energy independence for America. We were pleased to have John Mizroch at the Energy Conversation and hope that the audience was as well.

Mizroch discussed the various projects underway within EERE, including researching and developing the use of biomass such as switchgrass and zero energy homes and buildings. He also explains how improving energy efficiency in buildings and furthering development of lithium batteries for vehicles is important for the United States' national security.
