Amory Lovins' 29th book Winning the Oil Endgame, Innovation for
Profits, Jobs and Security offers a strategy for ending US oil
dependence, and is applicable worldwide. There are many analyses of the
oil problem. Published in Sept 2004, this synthesis is the first
roadmap of the oil solution - one led by business for profit.

Amory
Lovins, a MacArthur Fellow and consultant physicist, has advised the
energy and other industries for nearly three decades as well as the
U.S. Departments of Energy and Defense. He cofounded and leads Rocky
Mountain Institute an independent, market-oriented, nonprofit applied
research center. Much of its work is synthesized in Natural Capitalism.
RMI spun off E Source in 1992 and Hypercar, Inc., which he chairs, in
1999.
